THE BARBİE DOLL PRODUCTİON
Hello dear readers of Selam Weekly One Process! This week, we're going to lift the curtain a bit on how Barbie dolls come to life. If you're ready, let's get started right away!
Design and Concept Development: We begin with the design team! We dive into a magical world of computer-aided design (CAD). On that screen, the 3D world of Barbie dolls comes to life. And of course, the clothing fabrics! When selecting them, we participate in a dance of colors and styles. Which fabric, which color, what quality? Every decision shapes Barbie's style.
Design Approval: Our first encounter with CAD modeling! At this stage, decisions are made about the color palette, the overall appearance of the design, and even the types of plastic to be used. It's an exciting guidance! Paints and printing techniques come into play for dazzling details. The facial expressions, eye colors, and tattoos of the dolls come to life at this stage. All using water-based paints, sustainability at the forefront!
Prototype Production: In this stage, the first prototypes take the stage! Thanks to 3D printing technologies, the designs become tangible. It's as if magic is happening! We also try out clothing fabrics and accessories with the prototypes. Like a first-class fashion show, we bring Barbie to life by examining every detail.
Mold and Manufacturing Materials: Now it's time for the molds! These amazing molds shape the parts of Barbie dolls through injection molding. New worlds are born! Molds using PVC (polyvinyl chloride) bring Barbie parts to life. Quality material means quality Barbies!
Production: Baby parts come together through injection molding. Plastic raw material is injected into the molds, and the parts come together. The excitement is at its peak, the moment Barbie dolls are completed!
Coloring and Detailing: Baby parts are often produced in the colors determined during the mold stage. But the excitement lies in the intricate details that emerge during the painting process. With their eyes, hair, and nails, each Barbie character becomes even more lifelike.
Clothing Production :Clothing and accessories for Barbie dolls are prepared on a separate production line. Fabrics are cut, stitches are sewn, and accessories are added. Each piece completes Barbie's character. A little bit of fashion, a little bit of magic!
Reaching You: After quality control check its the final step, Barbie dolls reach you! They are distributed everywhere you can find them: retail stores, online sellers, and more. Until our next weekly bulletin, we'll continue exploring the Barbie world!
Thank you for being with us this week! We'll see you in our next weekly newsletter. Remember, every Barbie doll tells a story.
